Template is a very good tool to help us to make special features of a page or interlink other pages in the wiki. Template is easy to use but hard to create its parameters and operating codes. Some templates I would like to introduce are as follows:

Template:Fontcolor: This template is a very convenient way to create different color words without using span style. If you want to obtain this template and its readme. Please copy and paste the code onto a new template called "Template:Fontcolor". For readme, please go to here.

 {{#if:{{{3|}}}|<span style="background-color:{{{2|inherit}}};color:{{{1|inherit}}};">{{{3|}}}</span>|<span style="color:{{{1|inherit}}};">{{{2|}}}</span>}}

Template:PrevNext: This template is a good tool to link pages together. This also tidies up the pages and sort them into different weapons easier. This template can have its table background color and border changed, so you can decorate as beautiful as you can. For the previous page, type prev = and for the next page, type next =. If you want to change the main name of the page in this template, type page =.

 <div style="border: 1px solid #88a; background: grey; text-align: center; margin: 0.5em 0; padding: 0.5em; clear: both;">[[{{{prev}}}|« {{{prev}}}]] | {{#if:{{{page| }}} |'''{{{page| }}}'''|'''{{PAGENAME}}'''}} | [[{{{next}}} | {{{next}}} »]]</div>

Template:Navbox (advanced): Navbox (advanced) is an advanced version of normal navbox. You can see commonly in the end of the pages of Wikipedia. This Navbox have a special usage: Hide and Show function. To enable this function, you have to go to here to know more. You also need Template:Navbar and Template:Transclude to tidy the Navbox. Go to Template:Navbox/doc in Wikipedia to know more about its usage. The code can be found in Template Wiki saying Template:Navbox advanced. If you want to have another Navbox under a Navbox, you should create a Template:Navbox subgroup. The code can be found in Wild Ones Wiki.

Q: It shrinks when I hide the bar!
A: You must make "cellspacing = 1" to be width="100%" in order to prevent the bar to shrink.
Q: It won't collapse!
A: Have you read Advice:Going collapsible? If not, you should read it. If you can't enable it, you should ask a staff or ask an admin to do it.

Switch, if and parameters: Switch, if and parameters offers a more advanced function in templates and it is not recommended to be used if you are not technical enough. This 3 functions make us more convenient but it is also dangerous to get into chaos. Switch is a function in template which acts like a switch - when you type a word that is included in the switch, then something will come out and you type a different that is included in the switch, then something different will come out. However, if you type a word that is not included in the switch, it will show nothing. Therefore, it is recommended to tell the function of the template if you switch in your template. In Wild Ones Wiki, the template which completely relies on switch is Template:Cratess. To create such thing, type {{#switch: {{{1|}}}|</code>, remember to close the end using two big brackets "}}". Then, type the word you want to appear such thing by typing the word you want to use to appear something plus a equal sign. After that, type whatever it is on HTML and visible in Wikia, such thing like {| or == will not appear in templates. Switches need two or more possibilty of course, so typing another one will need to end up the first one by "|" and follow the steps that I told in "Then".

For if template, it is a bit easier than switch but still hard to master. This template controls the visibility of such item. It is also used to reduce size and words of the template when it is not in used. In Wild Ones Wiki, Delete and Vandalize template uses this kind of template. To do it, type <code>{{#if:{{{1|}}} first. Then, "|". After that, type the text you want to hide if it is not used. However, this template will not work if you don't add the same parameter in it or there is no parameter in it. This such kind of template can only be used once. Therefore, it is not like Switch.

For parameters, it is not so complicated but still it needs time to master. This kind of parameters are mostly seen in PrevNext, Infobox and Navbox. It is classified into named parameters and numeral parameters. The most easiest one to master is numeral parameters. Typing {{{1}}} in a template will let you to type anything in the first blank in using a template. 2 for second blank, 3 for third blank etc. This parameter is easy to follow and users can know what it is operating. More complicated one is named parameters. You will need to do something like |name= etc. The procedure can be found in Help:Template parameters.

Template:Clr: Clr is a good template and it is mostly installed in every wikis. It is used to separate the words between the higher line and lower line. It can prevent words and photos and tables and videos and galleries and slideshows to clash together like a bunch of flowers. This template separate them which makes the page tidier and cleaner. Just type {{Clr}} is fine.
